Today I decided to tackle the cooling issue. I changed the Thermostat and put in a low temperature one in(180 deg vs 192 deg) and I bled the entire cooling system. I took it out for a 80km test drive with a mix of highway, city & and I let it idle for 15mins. The needle still shows as a little hot but it held steady and did not budge once during the trip. I'm going to have to assume that this is normal operating temperature and quit worrying about it but I'll keep an eye on it to make sure.
